The Hepworth Festive Market
The Hepworth Wakefield Festive Market returns bigger and better than ever! This year we’re expanding into the new event space on the upper floor of Tileyard North to allow space for up to 100 stallholders each weekend.
The Festive Market is a vibrant and well-attended event, featuring family-friendly activities, live music and street food, alongside special offers in The Hepworth Wakefield shop and café as well as discounted exhibition entry. In 2025 we welcomed over 13,000 visitors across the two Festive Market weekends.
Step into Christmas at Rutland Mills, where the historic courtyard will be transformed into a magical festive market filled with lights, music and seasonal cheer.
Explore around 30 handpicked stalls featuring unique gifts, artisan crafts and delicious treats, from handmade chocolates and indulgent brownies to thoughtful presents from independent makers. Enjoy freshly prepared street food including sizzling bratwurst and warm doughnuts, then settle in with a mulled wine or boozy hot chocolate.
Gather around the marshmallow-toasting pits, take a ride on the traditional fairground rides—all set between the atmospheric brick buildings of Rutland Mills.
Whether you’re Christmas shopping, meeting friends or enjoying a festive family day out, expect great food, warming drinks and plenty of Christmas magic in the heart of Wakefield.

Boring beer festivals? Not on our watch. We’ve taken the beer festival rulebook, set it on fire and launched it out of a confetti cannon. Craft Brew Festival isn’t like any other beer festival - it’s five hours of full-throttle, all-in, party-mode madness with bottomless craft beer, cider, wine, non-alcoholic beer, soft drinks and prosecco. No faff. No overpriced drink tokens. Just pure, unfiltered fun.
